Readers of Antville Help....HeLp!!
I know the question has been asked a few times of the Antville help team. I'm now taking a shot at asking you the readers--does any of you know of a way to implement a "comment" system that can run concurrently with the Antville comment system we have here? I am interested in having visitors to my page who are non-Antville members, just leave a quick comment without the task of actually registering to do so... I thank you in advance for any advice on this.

you can try to add any comment system that works for blogger. these systems make use of the fact the every post has a unique id number. same with antville. (the id is the last part of the url.) i haven't done it and i wouldn't do it, though.
if you sign up for one antville site you can comment on every other site as well and you can edit all your posts. there are a lot of cool antville sites around. maybe this can convince your readers.
as a workaround, create a guest account and put the user/pass combo on your site.

Another member Ototoro had suggested the same thing to me and I've just finished setting it up. Thanks to you both!

just encourage your readers to register. Tell them it's quickly done,it doesn't hurt, it's safe & FREE! I'm sure readers who vistit your site frequently will do so. (And who needs comments by readers who only drop a line once and then never return?)
memo
I know how it is when reading an article and one just wants to leave a quick post--it becomes sort of tedious to go the whole route of registering--so my aim was to provide a less tedious route by making the site a bit more accessible to them--I could be wrong but it seems that that would be a better alternative.

as you know your readers will have to do this only ONCE and afterwards they have comment-access to ALL the antville sites including yours, so I think it's not to much to ask for, is it? My 2 euro-cents.
memo
I wasn't thinking of it that way--that visitors would naturally want to browse other antville sites. I was just so caught up the last few days trying out different things to use to make MY site more reachable, that my selfishness got the better of me. Your bold assertion "ALL" really drove home the point. I agree with you completely! Well, at least the way I have it set up now, everyone will be able to login. Thanks Tinto for the enlightenment. Appreciate it.
