uploading images

Hi there, I'm having problems uploading images. For some reason, I can't do it, even though uploading goodies is fine. I always get the comment that `this was definitely no image', which sounds a bit too cocksure given that what I try to upload is in fact... an image. What am I doing wrong? What's the magic passphrase?
