Displaying Polls to those Logged Out

Adding a poll to a story, the possible answers are only displayed if the reader is logged in. Otherwise readers can only read the question as a link (as described here).

Is it possible to show the complete poll including the answers in general, regardless of the reader's current log-in status? I understand that only registered users are allowed to actually vote, but I'd prefer a possibility at least to display the possible answers. Those readers who are not logged in/registered could be directed to the login/sign in-page when they hit the vote button.

If it's possible: what am I doing wrong?
