Cleaning up

Well, blocking the spammers alone did not shoo away the count; thus, we cleaned up elise's hard disk and optimized the MySQL database.

From here, everything feels pretty snappy again, quite a performance boost! (Of course, we just achieved a normal level again.)

Obviously, Antville.org still is the most appreciated of all those Antville sites out there and simply has to cope with high traffic*.

So thanks to all of you and keep up the good writing!

* Just a few days ago, Antville.org did not only top twoday.net's reach a few times but even scored a new high-water mark (at least according to Alexa.com).
