Auto-Save Help
When I'm creating a story, I often have been "timed out" and logged out without warning. When I finally go to "save" I am told I must log in and when I do all of my unsaved story is gone. Is there an auto-save feature I might activate? Or at least some warning to save before I'm kicked off?

i'm not sure what exactly the specific problem you're referring to is (i never timed out on antville, even when i submitted a form that i loaded over 10 hours before), but anyway:
it's generally a rather bad idea to trust a form on any website to properly take care of whatever you typed in. whenever you typed more than a few lines you should save the text locally (putting it into the clipboard, e.g. on windows by pressing Ctrl-a, then Crtl-c, works just fine) before submitting.
an auto-save feature can't be sensibly implemented, because if the web server already forgot who you are, where to should it save the text you submitted? and anyway, the text could get lost before it even reaches the server. so i'd suggest you better copy it to the clipboard so you can easily resubmit it.

...and the problem is probably on your side.
Do you reach the web through a LAN (local area network,
in case you don`t understand that), is there a router in use?
If you answer`s "yes"/"joo, scho..." to one of the two questions you get "kicked off" by your own machines;
the whole affair has got nothing to do with mean servers, mean software or mean admins.
The other tip is always a good one: put stuff at least
on the clipboard; alternatively you could use notepad -
not only to save your words, but also to create the whole
text.
If you wanna know more about that LAN/router-thing
