Changing Rights for Role "Contributor"?
I am in the very beginning of planning a website and "misusing" antville as CMS. I have seen examples that encourage me to follow this idea.
But I have one question abou the role "contributor" and the rights included: Is it possible to limit the contributors rights to create/modify and just save articles? The content manager then will check those articles and set them online... Any Ideas? Maybe just creating a special form for contributors without "Publish"-Button?
Thanks in advance...

you can't do that out-of-the-box. what you could do is: change the story-edit-form in a way, that - when saving - the story is set to "offline" automatically (remove the "story.online" pulldown and insert a hidden input field with the respective variables - look into the source of the html page to find the correct names...). then as content-manager set the offline stories to "visible in weblog" or "visible in topic" in the story-manager pages. btw: you should then only enable the story-manager pages for the "content manager" role.
as you said, you are 'misusing' antville as a cms which it is not (at least not in the form of antville.org). but anyway ;)

I will follow this suggestion....
But, is has to be made sure that the author himself can edit his story... not publish
