Stories disappeared

I have changed the topic of some old stories using the editbox of each story. Then, this stories don't appear in the new topic, neither appear online, and when I go to 'stories' to search and put them online I only can see the ten recent stories included in the weblog (I have hundreds of stories in my weblog). If I try 'offline stories' or 'my stories' only appear this ten last stories. It's impossible to find this old stories that I have changed of topic. It's terrible! I have loosed this stories?
