What is the purpose of the orange XML button?
I have read the story about the XML button at macro.antville.org. It explains that "the button links to a document that contains all the stories that are visible on the main page of a site but without any layout information (except for what was put into the stories)." What is the point of linking to stories without layout?
The story explained that having stories stripped of their layout, allows stories to be syndicated across the web which is an admirable aim, but what is the purpose of the link? Is it required for "RSS feeds"?
BTW, I have also seen a blue XML button on other sites. What does a blue XML button mean or does the colour not matter?

- As a subscriber I get the message “sorry you are not allowed to add stories to this weblog” when I click on the “stories” link of the linked path of a "full story" webpage. Similar to the topics page, I would expect a subscriber to see the list of “online” stories and not be allowed to add a story.
- Confirmation Email uses the administrators profile email address instead of the Preferences email address.
- I wanted comments to have a captial letter "C" but the story.commentcounter macro does not display the number of comments when the macro is defined with... story.commentcounter no=" Comments" one=" Comment" more=" Comments"
- Antville skins (assume macros too) are meant to be XHTML compliant, but when I tried to validate my webpage a WBR tag generated by Antville in "Recently Modified" caused it to fail.
- “set online” and “Add a story to topic” have no text option e.g. ability to change “set online” to “Publish”.
- When you delete a story the warning message has the typo "klick" instead of "click".
How do I make my Antville weblog?
I registered and downloaded Antville (1.0). I don't know what else to do. Half of the sites related to this are in a foreign language. I hope I don't sound too much like a beginner because there aren't any instructions of HELP manuals attached to the Antvile 1.0 that I downloaded. How do I start making my weblog on [antville.org]?
