Upgrading from 1.0.x to 1.1

I'd like to upgrade from Antville 1.0.x to 1.1final, can I follow the exact procedure here?

There it reads: 2. Apply the SQL patch named antville_dbpatch20030728.sql (Database patches are located in db_support/patches.)

This is for upgrading to 1.1pre1 though, can I use the same patch for upgrading to 1.1final?

UPDATE: seems the versions are mislabeled in the txt-file above, the update seems to be from 1.1x to 1.1pre, not from 1.0.x (layout folders etc. are missing)..
