antclick on an offline server
i just installed antclick on a win2k webserver. it runs properly - the installation was more than easy.
there is just one problem i am facing: when i start it i can register and do all the admin stuff, but when i restart the browser i am logged off and cannot log in again.
maybe it is because my webserver is offline (and will be offline until next friday, because i am not able to get my internet connection earlier). does my antville installation try to send me an e-mail and wants to do me some kind of confirmation like they do it on twoday.net?
can i somehow delete the necessarity of this confirmation process? i won't need it in future.

no, this has nothing to do with the connection status of your server: antville will try to send a confirmation mail, but if it fails nothing will happen. i assume that you hit a known bug that is already fixed in CVS (if you registered with StephanSchmatz using mixed case characters). as a workaround for now use a username generally in lowercase. or wait until the final release of antville is available (just a few more days).

We just fixed it a few days ago and it'll be gone in the next Antclick release (1.0?)
The bug is also not too hard to fix by your own, just delete one line in apps/antville/membermgr/objectfunctions.js, but you won't be able to resume your lost login, meaning you have to reinstall, fix the problem and then create a new user again.

as easy as robert showed us in krems. never had to setup something that easy! great work!
hm - how will i survive the waiting time until i get my connection? ;-)
