strange umlaut bug (?)
have a look at: arrog.antville.org
"übermaschinengroß" is rendered correctly in the story on the frontpage;
but rendered with an ß
on the history list

And, may I add, with a
<wbr />
between the&sz
and thelig;
in the source code.A tiny piece of information which may not help you in the moment, but might make it easier for our heroic developers here to find the bug.
Obviously long words get a "Sollumbruchstelle" after a certain amount of letters in the history list, which is in itself a very good feature. The bad thing is that this can also happen within an html-entity and causes the strange behaviour in your list.
"übermaschinengroß" is simply übermaschinengroß (or -lang)
;^)

thx very much.

after a deeper look into the code i did not find even a dirty solution for this issue. as i am not happy with the
<wbr />
tags, anyway (afaik, they are not standard compliant anymore) i think the solution will be to drop this "softwrap" simulation and instead hide a potential overflow of the "recently modified" box on the right using an appropriate stylesheet directive. i will discuss this with robert as soon as he's back.baronesse
Oh, I just wanted to suggest a new Antville-sport: find (übermaschinengroß) words where the funny behaviour happens. Mr. Praschl won, 'cause he was first.
This could become a rather amusing "feature" ;^)
