Antclick install problem
I installed Antclick successfully and then I registered, defined/guessed system preferences and created a site on my home PC to develop layouts before uploading to my antville.org site.
The link to the system site like antville.org didn't work so I set it to http://localhost:8080 in the system preferences. However, once I posted my first story in the site I had no way of getting to the system/server preferences anymore. I rebooted the server but still couldn't get into system preferences.
Obviously, I have screwed up the settings, but do I need to delete the antclick install and start all over again? Secondly, to prevent me from making this mistake again how does one switch from system/server mode to site mode and vice versa?
I discovered somebody else made the same mistake, but they never got an answer. Please answer me. Thanks.

I think the base url is saved somewhere within the mkcoi database, so there should be a way of fixing this sql-wise - if You want to take this route, head over to the antville-users mailinglist.
Otherwise You better consider reinstalling and starting over, which probably is the faster way.
The problem with the 'site home' link is most likely a dns issue - register a hostname with dyndns.org and possibly avoid NAT.
(I can't reach my antville installation justblog.blogdns.org when I'm at home under that hostname without some cheating through mod_rewrite. Reason:
justblog.blogdns.org points to blutmeer-cable.dyndns.org:8081 and gets translated to cpx-7.intern.deranfangvomen.de:10080. Quite a mess, but in the end it allows freely moving the antville site around)

I made the wrong assumption that the system preferences links disappeared because I set to . The system preferences links disappeared because I set in the system preferences to my newly created site. The layout of new sites does not include links for a system administrator.
The solution is to login as a system administrator and access the system administrator links directly by typing http://localhost:8080/manage/ in your browsers address field.
